S King Legal, a founder-led legal consultancy, has engaged Fry Communications, to strengthen its digital presence and better align communications with its commercial objectives.

The focus of this work is not on increasing visibility for its own sake, but on ensuring that the expertise of founder Suezanne King is positioned clearly and consistently to reach the right audience. For many founder-led businesses, particularly in high-trust sectors like legal services, growth often depends on referrals. And while these relationships are vital - and are certainly a major asset for Suezanne's clients - a referrals-based approach can limit control over pipeline and positioning. And that's exactly what this digital communications strategy work is designed to address.

The work has structured as a two-phase engagement, beginning with a programme of strategic brand and digital alignment, followed by ongoing thought leadership support . The initial phase is focusing on establishing a clear onling foundation for S King Legal: defining target audiences, aligning messaging, and ensuring that digital platforms support both credibility and conversion.

A key part of my approach has been building a measurement framework from the outset. A comprehensive audit and reporting process, where I reviewed existing performance, and analytics, helped Suezanne set realistic KPIs based on her business development targets, and used that data to inform decision-making for project planning. From there, we’ve developed a consistent tone of voice, refined positioning, and aligned core platforms including LinkedIn and the website to support a more targeted and commercially effective presence.

From this work, I have developed a channel-specific content marketing strategy, with emphasis on sustainable thought leadership. This is allowing S King Legal to increase brand visibility and improve digital communications, whilst still balancing the practical demands of running a business, focusing on quality over volume. Early signals are already showing increased engagement and a rise in inbound enquiries through social channels for Suezanne!
