I’m pleased to be working with the Air & Space Power Association as a new Fry Communications client, supporting the professional membership network with digital communications, social media and ongoing web development.

ASPA is an independent voice and platform for discussion and debate on air and space power, bringing together expertise from across the military, government, industry, technology and academic communities. Its mission is simple: to promote the advancement and understanding of military air and space power to the everyday public in the UK and beyond.

"It's public engagement at its best; connecting complex topics with regular audiences. This is what Fry Communications was founded on."

The Association already has a wealth of insight to draw on through its conferences, podcasts, publications, events and membership. My work will focus on helping that expertise travel further online, with a more integrated approach to social media, website content and digital communications. The new strategy will make the +important discussions that ASPA leads more accessible, and give audiences more ways to discover and engage with them.

I’ll also be supporting ASPA’s high-profile conference programme. This includes digital communications around the inaugural UK Space Power Conference 2026 with UK Space Command, taking place in London and online on 23 and 24 September 2026. The conference will bring together leading voices from the military space community, government, industry, technology and academia to explore how the UK can remain secure in space and prosperous at home.

This work is a particularly strong fit for Fry Communications. Much of my experience has centred on translating technical and policy-sensitive subjects into clear, accessible online content, without losing the substance and accuracy that specialist audiences expect.

There is also a lovely personal connection. ASPA is based in Fairford, with RAF Fairford visible from my office window. I’m looking forward to working with Greg Bagwell CB CBE, president of the ASPA and Air Marshal (Ret’d), Mark Roberts CBE MA MBA RAF, ASPA chairman and Air Commodore (Ret’d), Clive Elliott, Carol Reed and the wider team as ASPA continues to shape debate around the future of air and space power.
